This module controls all basic functions of the Ecobee Thermostat. This module will request access and authenticate with the Ecobee web server. It will retrieve the number of thermostats registered with the account, as well as each thermostats information (i.e. online, name, current temperature, humidity, set points, system mode, status, and fan mode). Users will also be able to set the thermostats settings with the Ecobee Thermostat Control Crestron Module.
The help documentation goes in depth on what features the Ecobee Thermostat Control Crestron Module can control. Furthermore, it provides a list of definitions for parameters, input signals, and output signals. The document also provides users with a set of instructions on how to set up the module.
An Ecobee portal setup video can be viewed below.
Linked here is a video demonstration of how the Ecobee Thermostat Control Crestron Module works.
This module has been tested with the new Ecobee API changes set to be released December 2020.
**NOTE, Demo project leverages a heat only system. Please remember to tie in all signals for a Heat/Cool/Auto system.
